Long-Haired Hare

Bugs Bunny is sitting outside his rabbit hole, strumming a tune on his banjo (“Rainy Night In Rio”). Meanwhile, a few feet away is the great opera singer Giovanni Jones, rehearsing for tonight’s concert. Unable to concentrate because of the rabbit’s folk music singing, Jones goes to the bunny and breaks his banjo. Later, the rabbit plays a lovely tune using a harp. Jones smashes that, too. When the opera baritone interrupts Bugs’ tuba solo and ties the rabbit’s ears to a tree branch, Bugs allows as to how “of course, you realize this means war!” While Jones wins an early victory against Bugs, it is Bugs who ends up with the upper hand in his performance that night.
